Welcome to Year 1 – Hedgehogs Class

Year 1 is a very important year for the children as they move from Foundation Stage into Key Stage 1. It is a big transition for the children as the curriculum moves from the Early Years Foundation Stage to the National Curriculum where the children engage in more structured learning.

The staff who work in Hedgehogs class are Mrs Sarah Banks (class teacher) and Hayley Gregory

PE: Monday – Outdoor session and Thursday – Dance (Spring term)

Homework: Will be sent out on Thursdays and expect it back by the following Wednesday. In addition, please read with your child every day. Children are expected to bring their reading log books into school every day, signed by an adult.
