Shaftesbury Park Book Bazaar and Tycoon Enterprise stall

Come along to Shaftesbury Park’s Book Bazaar this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Tycoon Enterprise competition trading will start in the playground over the next 6 weeks, starting tomorrow, on Wednesdays & Thursdays between 3pm and 3.30pm.

KS1 Rainbow Disco – £5 at ticket – Friday 9th November @ 6.30-8pm

Tickets will be on sale from Tuesday 30th October from the school office, all tickets will be served on a first come first served bases as spaces are limited. Each ticket admits one child only. Parents will not be able to stay at the disco and are advised to be ready to collect their children at 7.50pm.

Data protection forms are due – Friday 19th by the latest

In line with the new EU regulations for data protection, it is a requirement that the accuracy of your child’s information is up to date. Enabling Enterprise Challenge Day – Tuesday 16th October @9am

Shaftesbury Park are inviting parents and carers to join us for our first Enterprise Day of the school year. Please join us at 9am for an assembly in the lower hall and then  for a chance to see how your child tackles this intriguing problem in their class from 9:30- 10am.

Film Night – Tonight @ 6:30pm

All parents are welcome to attend our annual film night, which takes place tonight in the top hall. The children will be well looked after by members of staff in the lower hall and reception classes, where they will watch a film and enjoy some pop corn. Book Week 2018: 30th April – 4th May

Book Week this year will involve our school community sharing in reading one book: Here We Are by Oliver Jeffers. In order to promote our comprehension teaching through the development of reading comprehension skills (connecting, evaluating, clarifying, visualizing, questioning, summarising, predicting), each year group will focus on one skill.
