Support for Parents

Being a parent can be rewarding and demanding, exciting and frightening in equal measure. Here at Shaftesbury Park Primary School, we are proud to be able to offer the following support to parents/carers:

Our Parent Support Worker

We are fortunate to have a wonderful Parent Support Worker, Mrs Anna Di-Doi, who is able to work with and support parents in dealing with a wide range of issues including attendance, behaviour/parenting issues, health and wellbeing, housing and financial difficulties. Where appropriate, Mrs Di-Doi can also refer parents to external services/agencies for further assistance.

How to get in touch

Mrs Di-Doi is available to speak/meet with parents throughout the week. She can be contacted by calling the School Office or via email at anna.di-doi@shaftesburypark.wandsworth.sch.uk . Alternatively, please speak to Mrs Di-Doi in the Playground at drop off or collection.

Unlocking Potential

Our in school therapeutic service, Unlocking Potential, is also available to support parents, offering counselling, parent workshops and drop-in sessions with other professionals.

How to get in touch

To get in touch with Unlocking Potential, please call the School Office and ask to be put through to the Service Team Manager, Zuzana Vitekova. Alternatively, please email Zuzana at zuzana.vitekova@shaftesburypark.wandsworth.sch.uk  .

Parent Coffee Mornings

In conjunction with Unlocking Potential, Shaftesbury Park Primary School runs regular coffee mornings throughout the year on a range of popular parenting topics such as managing behaviour, storytelling and SEND. Our Parent Coffee Mornings are a great opportunity to seek support, meet staff and other parents and to chat in a friendly and informal atmosphere.

For information on upcoming Parent Coffee Mornings, please see our Dates for the Diary page.
